Welcome to Music for Bright Stars

Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything

Music for bright stars gives children with Autism, ADHD and other learning disabilities the chance to cherish and enjoy music in their own way, no matter what challenge they may face in life.

Being a mum to an autistic child myself, I remember taking him to my music classes and seeing him not engaging with the other children or activities. Simply put, it broke my heart. That's when I decided to start a specific program designed for autistic children and children with special needs.

Through structure, play and the help of visual props, children are able to engage and follow musical activities using aspects from Speech & Language as well as music therapy.

This will help your child develop independence and social skills which can be very hard and challenging for children on the autistic spectrum. This class is ideal for children aged 2.5 years to 6 years old.

About Me

Nadine picture

Nadine grew up in Germany where she started singing at the age of 6. She went on the study classical music for 8 years before moving to the UK at the age of 17. With her love and passion for music she went on to study Opera at the Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff and also completed a Performance Diploma at the London School of Music Theatre. She worked for over 10 years as a professional Singer in musical productions, operettas, luxury cruise liners and cabarets.

Now living in Surrey with her devoted husband and her two young children she has found a new path in life through teaching music to children. She has worked as a music/art and movement teacher at Gymboree which she thoroughly enjoyed. Through Music for Brightstars she hopes to bring lots of joy and inspiration to both parents and children.

Being a mum to an autistic child Nadine has developed a program specifically for children with Autism and other learning disabilities as she has seen just how difficult it was for her son to enjoy and interact at a normal music class. She hopes to expand this program further as there is a need for this kind of class and it will help not just children but also parents to learn, enjoy and interact together.
